Method 2: Change your browser's default search engine

• Open Google Chrome and click on the three-dot menu in the upper right corner, then head to Settings > Search engine > Manage search engines and site search. Or you can just type chrome://settings/searchEngines in the search box.

• Click “Add” next to the “Site search” section.

• In the pop-up window, enter the following then click Add.

• Click the three-dot menu next to “Google Web” and select Make default.

Close the Settings page and you will now no longer see the AI Overview when you rerun your search. If you want to switch back to AI Overview, just go back to the Settings tab in Chrome and set Google as your default search engine.
